- Swedish actor Björn Wilhelm Holmström, moved to the USA to join their army, but ended up being an actor. In Hollywood, he took the name Bern Holm. He lived in USA for many years, then moved back to Sweden in 1983. He eventually died on August 21, 1997.
Source : skatteverket BA - "Ruth Langer - certainly the voice of Mrs Jumbo, in the first dubbing - was born Ruth Martenson in Falun, Sweden on May 24, 1921. She left, against her mother's wishes, to elope with Armand Langer, whom she married when she was 18. Seeking to study acting and break into Hollywood, the pair left on the SS Drottningham for Los Angeles. She had her own pantomime act through the fifties, and when (her daughter, (Susan McCabe) was born in 1960, she turned to writing children's stories. She died on (her daugher's) birthday, on December 31 -- in 1990."
