- Release date :
USA - November 3, 1994 (Lander, Wyoming) - Arapaho is a Native American language. The dubbing was made to preserve it from extinction. The movie was released in the local theater in Lander, Wyoming, which was rewired by Disney technicians to have the best sound. After that, 2000 VHS of the dubbing were published.
Source : University of Montana - "I chose Bambi over all the other Disney movies because it had themes in it that were relatively comparable to native culture. It’s not uncommon for many of our stories and myths to have animals speaking."
- Stephen Greymorning
