The recordings were made in February 1993 - Gaby Wagner, stage name of Gaby Louise Catherine Wansard, who voiced Adult Faline (?) in the first dubbing (1945), was born in London, England, and died in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on September 22, 1954, from a heart attack. She was 40 years-old. According to the site "Les Gens du Cinéma", she was the wife of André Norevó, the Dubbing director of the dubbing.
- The second dubbing was only released on VHS in Quebec in 1989. In France, only the third dubbing was ever released on Home Media supports.
- Jean-Pierre Dorat directed both redubbings (1979 & 1993), and Gérard Hernandez dubbed Friend Owl in both of them. Jeanine Forney also dubbed additional roles in those two dubbings.
- In the first dubbing (1945), Bernard Gilles, the voice of Young Bambi, was credited as "Le Petit B. Gilles" ("The Young/Little B. Gilles"), while Marie-Claire Marty, the voice of Young Faline, was credited as "La Petite F. Marty" ("The Young/Little F. Marty").
- Sélim Mouhoubi, the voice of Young Bambi in the third dubbing (1993), was miscredited as Célim Mouhoubi.
- Bernard Gabay, the voice of Adult Bambi in the third dubbing (1993), was credited as Bernard Brieux.
- Maïk Darah, the voice of Bambi's mother in the third dubbing (1993), was credited with her real name, Marie-Christine Darah.
- Edith Barijaona, the voice of Thumper's mother in the third dubbing (1993), was miscredited as Edith Barijoane.
