France - November 1998 (VHS) - This is the first time Lily Baron dubbed Mrs. Potts, following the lawsuit of Lucie Dolène (Mrs Potts' original French voice) in 1996 against Disney for the royalties on her voice. She will not only reprise the role in the second sequel, but will also redub the lines of the character in the first movie for the 2002 release (only for speaking).
- For the first time, Belgium used a different title : "La Belle et la Bête - Le plus Beau des Noëls".
- Jade-Nadja Nguyen, the voice of Angelique, was credited simply as Nadja Nguyen.
- Claude Rigal-Ansous, the translator, was miscredited as Claude Rigal-Anssous.
- Frédéric Dray, the mixing engineer, was miscredited as Frédérique Dray.

France - Spring 1999 (Mrs Potts' Party) - This sequel consists of 4 short segments connected together. However, the segment "Mrs Potts' Party" was originally released on the live-action/animated direct-to-video film "Belle's Tales of Friendship" (1999).
In France, this segment got dubbed in 1999 as a stand-alone short, and was then released as an Ending Bonus in VHS reissues of "Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas". It was added to the movie "Belle's Magical World" in 2003 for the Special Edition.
