- Cerise and Anthony recordings in the French dubbing were kept in the Quebec dub. Only parts where Moana's name is pronounced were changed from Vaiana in the French dub to Moana in the Quebec version.
- In the scene where Maui half-turns into a shark, Anthony improvised and lispes, and the director liked it and it was kept as such in the final recording.
- In the European French soundtrack, for Tala's musical parts, France used for unknown reasons Johanne Garneau, the Quebec French voice of Tala. And because of this, she was wrongly credited as Tala's French singing voice as well in the French credits of the movie.
