- Release date :
Brazil - December 25, 1989 (Cinema) - While the movie was originally promoted under the title "Oliver e seus Companheiros" in 1989, it was then re-titled "Oliver e sua Turma" from the 1997 VHS release onwards.
- André Luiz Chapéu, the voice of Einstein, was forced to permanently leave dubbing in the early 90s due to health problems following a heart attack. He then returned to live with his family, where his health deteriorated again and he died on August 20, 1991, aged 50.
- Newton Apollo, the voice of Francis, was credited by his real name, Newton Zímmerer.
- Jorgeh Ramos, the voice of Sykes, was miscredited as Jorge Ramos.
- While the VHS credited the songs with direct translations of the English titles, the soundtrack used titles based on the Brazilian lyrics :
"Once Upon a Time in New York City" = "Nova Iorque é uma Cidade Grande e Tentadora"
"Streets of Gold" = "Estas Ruas São de Ouro"
"Perfect Isn't Easy" = "Perfeição Existe" - Antonio "Moogie" Canazio, the song recording engineer, was miscredited as "Mug".
