  • Release dates :
    France - May 22, 1946 (1st dubbing)
The recordings were made in October 1944
    France - December 10, 1975 (2nd dubbing)
  • In the second dubbing (1975), actor Jean-Claude Michel is credited as the Narrator, while there is no Narrator, besides Jiminy, in the movie.
  • *Three additional changes were made to the second dubbing (1975) :
    1. For the 1983 Cinema release, the song "When You Wish Upon a Star" and its reprise were recorded again by Olivier Constantin and a new choir. This new recording was made on October 20, 1982.
The rest of the dubbing is the same from 1975.
    2. For the 1995 VHS release, Jiminy Cricket's original French name, "Jiminy Grillon" was changed to his original name "Jiminy Cricket"; the original voices of Jiminy and the Blue Fairy reprised their lines to correct the name, and actor Dimitri Rougeul voiced Pinocchio in those parts.
The rest of those characters' dialogues and the dubbing is the same from 1975/1983.
    3. For the 2003 VHS/DVD releases, one of Lampwick's line was changed, considered too colloquial. His original voice actor would have reprised the line.
The rest of the character's dialogues and the dubbing is the same from 1975/1983/1995.
  • In the 2009 DVDs and BLU-RAYs, the original 1944 dubbing of the song "When You Wish Upon a Star" and its reprise was mixed with the 1975 dubbing. The site Dans L'Ombre des Studios believes the reason is that this version of the song was originally used in 1975 for the redubbing.
  • Mark Lesser, the speaking voice of Pinocchio in the second dubbing (1975), was credited as Marc Lesser.
  • Teddy Bilis, the voice of Geppetto in the second dubbing (1975), was miscredited as Teddy Billis.
  • Evelyn Séléna, the voice of the Blue Fairy in the second dubbing (1975), was miscredited as Evelyne Selena.
  • Jean-François Vlérick, the voice of Lampwick in the second dubbing (1975), was credited with his other name, Jean-François Maurin.
