Japan - December 15, 1958 (1st Japanese dubbing) (Cinema)
Japan - July 23, 1983 (2nd Japanese dubbing) (Cinema?)
Japan - April 25, 1986 (3rd Japanese dubbing) (VHS/Laserdisc)
Japan - March 17, 1995 (2nd Japanese dubbing + 1995 modifications) (VHS)
Japan - June 20, 2003 (2nd Japanese dubbing + 1995 modifications) (Special Edition VHS/DVD) - The 3rd Japanese dubbing, made in 1986, was only ever released and used for the VHS and Laserdisc release of the time. The 2nd dubbing from 1983 with the 1995 modifications is today the official Japanese dubbing.
- Uchida Minoru (内田稔), the voice of Geppetto in the 1986 dubbing, dubbed the same year Jiminy Cricket in the VHS dubbing of "Fun and Fancy Free".
- The credits on Disney+ mention the voices of the 1983 dubbing only, and not the new voices of Pinocchio and Lampwick from 1995.
- While Disney ordered redubbings around the world in 1995 to have real boys dubbing Pinocchio (and Lampwick) instead of women for the new release, it's unknown why Japan redubbed those characters, who were already dubbed by young boys.
