  • "Andy Lau" Liú Dé-Huá (劉德華) dubbed John Smith in both Taiwanese Mandarin and Cantonese dubbings.
  • Before Andy Lau (劉德華) ended up voicing both the speaking and singing voice of John Smith, singer Xiè Wén-Dé (謝文德) originally sang John Smith's part. The same happened in the Cantonese dubbing.
  • The credits show first the soundtrack, then the cast, and lastly the song section of the actual movie version. In that one we can see the difference of John Smith's singer between the Soundtrack and the Movie version.
    The song "Colors of the WInd" is miscredited as "風之采" in the Movie version's song section.
    Xú Jiàn-Chūn (徐健春) is miscredited for Powhatan as 徐建春 in the song "Savages (Part 1)" of the Movie version's song section. The romanization and pronunciation remain the same.
  • The credits wrongly mention the Cantonese voice of Nakoma, Peggy Kwok (郭碧珍), instead of her Taiwanese actress. Wikipedia suggests actress Liú Xiǎo-Yún (劉小芸) - needs confirmation!
  • "John Wu" Hú Qǐ-Róng (胡啟榮), the Executive Producer, is originally Cantonese, and his named is romanized as Wu4 Kai2-Wing4.
  • "Bernard Lau" Lóu Ēn-Qí (樓恩奇), the Musical director, Lyricist and Music Producer, was born in Hong Kong as well. His named is romanized in Cantonese as Lau4 Jan1-Kei4.
  • Discogs credits the Mixing engineer of the songs as Au1 Joeng4-Jip6 (歐陽業) instead of Au1 Joeng4-San1 (歐陽燊) - if anyone knows more, please contact me!
  • Huáng Dà-Chéng (黃大城), member of the choir, died on November 24, 2008, of pancreatic cancer. He was 53 years-old.
  • Guān Zhì-Hóng (官志宏), the voice of Kocoum, was miscredited as Guān Zhì-Huá (官志華).
  • "Paul Yu" Yú Zhèng-Shēng (于正昇), the voice of Thomas, was miscredited as 於正升 on the BLU-RAY. The romanization and pronunciation remain the same.
