- Release date :
France - October 30, 1974 (Cinema) - In French, Robin Hood is called Robin des Bois, which literally means Robin of the Woods - a translation mistake, made since the first mention of his legend, between the words Hood and Wood.
Source : L'encyclopédie des héros du merveilleux - Allan-a-Dale, the Rooster minstrel, is called in French Adam de la Halle, named after a French troubadour from the XIII century, who wrote about Robin Hood and Maid Marian.
The DVD wrongly credits him as Alain de la Halle. - This was the second time Claude Bertrand and Jean Stout dubbed a character together, as speaking and singing voice respectively, after Baloo in The Jungle Book (1967).
- Siblings Sis, Skippy and Tagalong are dubbed by real life siblings Béatrice, Christophe and Aurélia Bruno. Their other brother, Fabrice Bruno, dubs Toby the Turtle.
- King Richard is miscredited as Roi Charles on the DVD credits; and Tagalong is miscredited as Togalong.
- Guy Piérauld, the voice of Father Sexton, was miscredited as Guy Pierrauld.
- Henry Djanik, the voice of Otto, was credited as Henri Djanick.
- Franca di Rienzo, the Soloist singer in the song "Love", was credited with her married name, Franca Chevallier.
