  • About the 1st dubbing (1959) :
    • The 1959 credits appeared wrongly in the 1996 Belgium VHS, with the 1981 redubbing.
    • The opening and ending reprises of "Once Upon A Dream" were left in original version.
  • About the 2nd dubbing (1981) :
    • While Aurora was called "Églantine" in the first dubbing, the equivalent of "Briar Rose", her forest name was changed to simply "Rose" in the second dubbing, in a concern of synchronisation.
    • Sylvie Moreau, the voice of Maleficent, still regularly goes to Disneyland to record some Maleficent dialogues for the park and the parade.
    • When Sylvie Moreau went to the theaters for the release of the movie with the new dubbing, at the moment Maleficent appeared on screen, her son said out loud: "It's mommy!".
