Germany - October 24, 1994 (3rd German dubbing) (VHS) - The first German dubbing (1938) was made in the Netherlands, alongside the first Dutch version, both dubbings directed by the same man. The translation in German of the script was done in Hollywood. It seems the recordings were made between May and July 1938.

Source : "Volksblad" May 19, 1938 - The 1938 News Report only mention some names of the cast. The only voice who is credited for her role is Hortense Raky as the speaking voice of Snow White. Two other female actresses are mentionned : Dora Gerson, and a new "Lady Star". Seeing her age, Dora Gerson certainly dubbed the Evil Queen (and maybe the Witch), while the new female star was certainly the singing voice of Snow White.
- According to Das Disney Synchron Archiv, the voices of Bashful, Sneezy and Sleepy in the first dubbing (1938) were often switched between lines.
- While Roy Disney originally flew to Germany to present the movie to Adolf Hitler, the company eventually decided not to sell the movie to Germany, explaining its late release in the country, and why the dubbing was made in Amsterdam, mainly by expatriate Jews who fled Nazi Germany.
- Most of the original 1938 cast were Jews, and were murdered by the Nazis :
Dora Gerson died on February 14, 1943, murdered with her family at Auschwitz.
Otto Wallburg also died in Auschwitz on October 30, 1944.
Kurt Lilien died on May 28, 1943, at Sobibor extermination camp.
Finally, Kurt Gerron, the Dubbing director, died on October 28, 1944 at Auschwitz. Kurt was coerced into directing a Nazi propaganda documentary intended to be viewed in "neutral" nations about Theresienstadt. However, once the movie was finished, he, his wife and the crew members of the documentary were deported on the camp's final train transport to Auschwitz.
Sources : "Deutschland, erwache!" / "Anne Frank and After: Dutch Holocaust Literature in a Historical Perspective" - Even though the 1979 LP recorded new dialogues, they used the 1966 movie version of the songs.
- The 1994 version mainly used the 1966 Lyrics for the songs, with small differences made for some words, and a stanza changed in "Whistle While You Work". Only for the song "One Song", the 1938 lyrics were used for unknown reasons.
- Susanne Tremper, the singing voice of Snow White in the second dubbing (1966), was only 18 years-old when she sang for the character.
- Manja Doering, the speaking voice of Snow White in the third dubbing (1994), was only 17 years-old when she dubbed the character.
