- Release dates :
Japan - September 26, 1950 (English dubbing) (Cinema)
Japan - December 17, 1957 (?) (1st Japanese dubbing) (Cinema)
Japan - July 19, 1980 (2nd Japanese dubbing) (Cinema) - About the first dubbing (1957) :
- Some sources state the dubbing was made and released in 1958. However, besides IMDb's mention of a cinema release on December 1957, no proofs to this day confirm the year of dubbing.
- Both Tomizawa Shima (富沢志満), the voice of Snow White, and Kitabayashi Tanie (北林谷栄), the voice of the Evil Queen, will return as Princess / Villain in the first Japanese dubbing of Cinderella (1961), as Cinderella and Lady Tremaine respectively. Kitabayashi Tanie (北林谷栄) will also provide the voice of Maleficent in the first Japanese dubbing of Sleeping Beauty (1960).
- About the second dubbing (1980) :
- The dubbing was not only supervised but also directed by none other than American Blake Todd, the Supervisor of Disney's international dubbings of the time.
- Doc's solo line at the beginning of "Heigh-Ho" wasn't sung by his voice, Kumakura Kazuo (熊倉一雄), who only performed "The Dwarfs' Washing Song", but by one of the members of BONNY JACKS, who performed the chorus parts of the dwarfs' songs. However, it is unknown who sings for Happy, Grumpy, Bashful and Sneezy in their solo parts in the various songs - either members of BONNY JACKS, or like for Doc, their actual voice actors.
- Ōki Tamio (大木民夫), Yashiro Shun (八代駿) and Tani Ikuko (谷育子) were only credited as additional voices. As the only woman, Tani Ikuko (谷育子) could easily be identified as the Narrator (both for the opening book at the beginning of the movie, and for the text slides after Snow White's death); however, the role attribution for Ōki Tamio (大木民夫) and Yashiro Shun (八代駿) comes from atwiki.jp.
- Kobato Kurumi (小鳩くるみ) is the stage name of Washizu Natsue (鷲津名都江), a Japanese academic, translator, children's singer, actress, television personality and voice actress, who debuted as a child singer and actress at the age of 4. Kurumi's performance as Snow White was praised by Blake Todd, who told her "Your portrayal of Snow White is perfect!".
