If someone has more information about this dub, please contact me

  • Release dates :
    Norway - December 26, 1971 (1st Norwegian dub) (Cinema)
    Norway - March 25, 1994 (2nd Norwegian dub) (Cinema)
  • This film marked the return of Norwegian dubs to the big screen, after Norway stopped in 1953 with Peter Pan.
  • Inger Teien is the only voice artist who dubbed in both versions, dubbing one goose in 1971 and returning as the other in 1994.
  • About the 1st dub (1971) :
    • According to the newspaper Asker og Bærums budstikke, 24 actors & actresses took part in the Norwegian dub.
    • Walt Disney Productions' representatives were quite pleased with the Norwegian dubbing and its actors/actresses.
      Source : "Aftenposten" 24-Dec-1971
    • The mixing of this version was done in Sweden and the mastering in England.
Source : "Asker og Bærums budstikke" 9-Jun-1971
    • According to the site Norske Dubber, the magazine "Film & Kino" actually miscredited the voices of the gang of cats : Roy Bjørnstad would be the Italian cat, and Carsten Byhring the Russian cat. It is possible a mistake was made, as the article of the Aftenposten from December 27, 1971 credits Willie Hoel, Roy Bjørnstad, Carsten Byhring & Erik Chr. Hurum as the "cat gang" - while the magazine Film & Kino does not make mention of Carsten as one of the cat.
    • The different articles from the Aftenposten posted in December 1971 credit Inger Lise Hansen as Marie; while all LP and soundtracks until 1989 would only mention Sille Merete Halvorsen for the role. Was Inger the speaking voice and Sille the singing voice of the character?
    • Anne-Lise Tangstad, the voice of Duchess, died on December 13, 1981, at 46 years-old.
    • Ralph Bernstein, the voice of Toulouse, was miscredited as Ralth Bernstein on the soundtracks. He is the cousin of Mona Levin, who voiced Amelia.
      Source : "Dagen (Bergen)" 24-May-1972
    • Merete Skavlan, the voice of Madame Adelaide, was miscredited as Merete Skavian on the soundtracks.
    • Marit Halset, the voice of Frou Frou, was miscredited as Marit Halseth on the soundtracks.
  • About the 2nd dub (1994) :
    • The DVD credits and Disney+ wrongly mention several voices of the Danish cast : Søren Pilmark for Thomas O'Malley, Henrik Koefoed for Roquefort, and Peter Zhelder for Lafayette; the Norwegian voices are mentioned after them.
    • While the DVD credits mention Ola Solum as the Translator, the VHS and Disney+ credit him as the Dubbing director, and Anders Hatlo as the 1994 Translator.
    • The credits wrongly switched Berlioz's and Toulouse's voices.
      Source : Kjetil Gudmundson Rogne
    • Ola Solum died on June 28, 1996 from cancer. He was 52 years-old.
    • Kjetil Gudmundson Rogne was miscredited as Ketil Gudmundsson Rogne in the DVD - but correctly in the VHS and in the soundtrack.
    • Tore Barstad, one of the sound engineer, was miscredited as Tore Barnstad on the DVD.
