Brazil - March 19, 2014 (2nd Brazilian Portuguese dubbing) (DVD/BLU-RAY) - While the movie was originally promoted with the title "Mowgli - O Menino Lobo", from the 1994 release and onwards, it's been changed to the spelling "Mogli - O Menino Lobo".
- It was the last dubbing work of Booker Pittman, the voice of King Louie in the first dubbing (1969), before his death the same year as the release, on October 13, 1969, of laryngeal cancer at the age of 60.
- Alberto Perez's dates of birth and death remain unknown, as different websites mention different dates, such as 1921, 1922, 1924 or 1928 for his birth, and 2002 or 2005 for his death.
- For the 2014 dubbing, several actors reprised the roles they already dubbed in the sequel "The Jungle Book 2" in 2003 : Ednaldo Lucena as Bagheera ; José Santana as Shere Khan ; Alexandre Moreno as Kaa and Élcio Romar as Colonel Hathi. Mauro Ramos, who was the voice of Lucky in the 2003 sequel, returned as Baloo.
- Roberto Maya, the voice of Shere Khan in the first dubbing (1969), was miscredited as Roberto Maia.
- Waldir Fiori (additional voice, first dubbing) was credited as Waldir de Andrade.
- Mário Monjardim (additional voice, first dubbing) was credited as Mário Monjardim Filho.
- José Santana, the voice of Shere Khan in the second dubbing (2014), was miscredited as José Sant'Anna.
