  • The 2003 Soundtrack wrongly credits Kika Tristão as the soloist singer in "Circle of Life" - certainly because she's credited simply as "soloist" in the credits of the movie. However, she only sang in "Can You Feel the Love Tonight".
  • While the 2003 Soundtrack only credits Telmo Perle Münch for the lyrics of "Hakuna Matata", the 1994 Cassette lists as lyricists Telmo Perle Münch, Marcelo Coutinho, Renato Lopez and Javier Pontón for that song. Moreover, the cassette lists Maurício Seixas as one of the lyricist of "Hakuna Matata", and not of "Be Prepared".
  • Before Simba, Garcia Júnior had already dubbed two Disney Renaissance Heroes : Eric in The Little Mermaid (1989) and the Beast in Beauty and the Beast (1991).
  • Jorgeh Ramos, the voice of Scar, was credited as Jorge Ramos.
