- Scar, miscredited as Skar on the DVD and BLU-RAY, wasn't credited at all on the VHS.
- Javier Pontón is only credited as a lyricist on the soundtracks; his name doesn't appear on the VHS, DVDs or BLU-RAYs.
- Carlos Magaña, the voice of Mufasa, was actually younger than Arturo Mercado, dubbing his son Simba. Carlos died on November 14, 1998 due to metabolic acidosis, aged 52.
- Jesús Barrero, the voice of Banzai, died on February 16, 2016 of lung cancer. He was 57 years-old.
- Táta Vega sang the song "Circle of Life" in both European and Latin Spanish dubs.
- Karla Falcón, the speaking voice of Young Nala, was miscredited as Carla Falcón.
- Genaro Vásquez, the voice of Rafiki, was miscredited as Genaro Vázquez.
- Gaby Cárdenas, the musical director of the added scene, was credited with her full name, Gabriela Cárdenas.
