- Release date :
Mexico - August 1977 (Cinema) - The Rescuers was the last Mexican dub directed by Edmundo Santos, before his death on August 3, 1977, just before the release of the movie. He was the director of the Mexican dubs for Disney since 1943 with Saludos Amigos.
- Diana Santos, the voice of Bianca, daughter of Edmundo Santos, said in an interview that Edmundo dedicated the Spanish lyrics of the song “Someone’s Waiting for You” to his granddaughter, Tony Assael (Diana's niece) who dubs Penny.

- The movie was originally titled "Bernardo y Bianca al rescate" (Bernard and Bianca to the rescue) in Argentina and Venezuela.
- Diana Santos was credited with her full name, Alicia Diana Santos.
- Tony Assael was credited as Toni Assael.
