  • Release dates :
    Sweden - December 18, 1950 (1st dub)
The movie was censored in its original cinema release; though it's unknown today what scenes were.
    Sweden - September 9, 1967 (2nd dub)

The movie was also censored for this cinema release; but it's also unknown today what scenes were cut out. We had to wait the 1991 cinema release for the film to be presented in its uncensored, original length. The movie was released for the first time in VHS only in 1992, therefore, never with the censorship.
  • Some Swedish VHS credits wrongly displayed the 1950 credits, even though they showed the 1967 dubbing.
  • About the 2nd dub (1967) :
    • The official reason given to the redub, only 17 years after the original, is that after a test run of the 1950 version, the copy and audio had become very archaic.
      Source : Newspaper "Göteborgsposten" 8-Jun-1967
    • Marie Hedeholm, the voice of Anastasia, was credited as Marie Isedal. She was married at the time to Tor Isedal, the voice of Jaq and Gus.
    • Actor Sune Mangs and actress Anna Sundqvist were originally cast as the King and Drizella respectively.
