  • Release dates :
    Sweden - October 7, 1942 (Cinema)
It's highly likely that the movie was presented in original version with Swedish subtitles for this release. It is unclear whether the movie was presented with a censorship to allow it to all public, or if it was not recommended for children under 15 years-old. To this day, no trace of an older Swedish dub from that time is to be known.
    Sweden - February 29, 1960 (1st Swedish dub) (Cinema)
For this release, the film was not recommended for children under 11 years-old.
    Sweden - September 19, 1986 (2nd Swedish dub) (Cinema)
    Sweden - December 15, 2010 (3rd Swedish dub) (DVD/BLU-RAY)
  • It's strongly possible that Mickey and Leopold Stokowski were not dubbed into Swedish in the first dubbing, like many of the old dubs.
  • In a letter to producer Mari-Anne Barrefelt on February 7, 1986, Blake Todd asked her, among direction for the new Swedish version (1986), that if Sweden was able to find a good Swedish voice for Mickey Mouse, they could dub his sequence with Stokowski; if not, to leave it in English. It'll turn out that Sweden was unsuccessful in finding a good voice for Mickey, as the sequence was presented in its original version.
