Japan - June 21, 2019 (Redubbing of Olaf's voice) (DVD/BLU-RAYs) - Kanda Sayaka (神田沙也加), the voice of Anna, tragically died on December 18, 2021, when she fell down from her hotel floor in Sapporo. She was 35 years-old.
- In March 2019, because of a drug case affair concerning Pierre Taki (ピエール瀧), the voice of Olaf, he was replaced in Frozen II and the upcoming apparitions of Olaf by Takeuchi Shunsuke (武内駿輔), who also redubbed his parts in previous features.
- May J., the singer of the Pop version of "Let it Go", also made a cover of the Japanese movie version of the song.
- In 2019, for the game "Kingdom Hearts III", some scenes and songs of the movie were re-created, matching the Japanese lip-sync :
