  • Release date :
    Iceland - November 27, 1998
  • While Lísa Pálsdóttir isn't credited for the singing of Grandmother Fa in the song "Honor To Us All", the credits wrongly mention the participation of Polish singer Katarzyna Pysiak - who is actually Mulan's Polish singing voice.
  • Valgerður Guðnadóttir first auditioned for the singing parts of Mulan, but was rejected. Other women were tried out, but were all rejected by Disney. A woman from Disney USA then asked for the voice of Angelique (from "Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas") to try out for the role, as she thought the voice would work well for Mulan - not knowing it was Valgerður and that she had already auditioned. Valgerður tried a second time and eventually got the part.

  • Hera Björk Þórhallsdóttir, the voice of the Bather, originally auditioned for the role of Mulan, but didn't get it.
    Source : Hera Björk Þórhallsdóttir
  • Vigdís Hrefna Pálsdóttir - the voice of Snow White and Cinderella - also auditioned for the role of Mulan, but was rejected as she sounded too young.
    Source : Vigdís Hrefna Pálsdóttir
  • Jóhann Sigurðarson, the voice of Shan-Yu, was miscredited as Jóhann Sigurðsson.
