The recordings of this version were done in April 1966.
In 1940 and onward, the movie was always promoted under the original Italian title "Pinocchio"; until the 1993 VHS release, in which it was then re-titled "Pinóquio".
In the first dub (1940), Doraldo Gomes Thompson, the voice of Pinocchio, and Dilmar Gomes Thompson, the voice of Alexander, were brothers.
Mesquitinha, the speaking voice of Jiminy Cricket in the first dub (1940), died of a heart attack, on June 10, 1956, at 54 years-old.
Joaquim "Luiz" Motta was only 33 years-old when he dubbed Geppetto in the second dub (1966).
