  • Release dates :
    Denmark - May 25, 1950 (1st dubbing) (Cinema)
The dubbing was made in Denmark in 1947, but only premiered in 1950.
    Denmark - March 1978 (2nd dubbing) (Cinema)
This dubbing was released on a 1987 rental VHS.
    Denmark -
1995 (1978 dubbing with modifications) (VHS)
  • *Even though the song "Three Cheers for Anything" was cut for the final edit of the movie, it was still presented on the 1950 Press Material with a Danish-translated title.
  • For the first dubbing, Jack Cutting from the USA went to Denmark around September/August 1946 to help prepare the Danish dubbing of the movie and cast the voices; however, the dubbing started only in early 1947.
    Sources : Berlingske Aftenavis - August 8, 1946 / Nationaltidende - December 6, 1946
  • The 1995 partial redubbing was made following the Disney Company's will to have real boys dubbing Pinocchio and not women. Alexander Glæsel was just 9 years-old when he dubbed the character.
  • Blake Todd, the Vice President of Disney Character Voices at the time, was also unhappy with Ove Sprogøe's performance as Jiminy Cricket, and wanted to redub him as well in 1995, but Kirsten Saabye, the Danish Creative Executive, fought against it. The same almost happened with Thumper's voice in the Danish dubbing of "Bambi".

  • On  January 7, 2018, the site "Med Dansk Tale" organized a screening of the 1978 dubbing of Pinocchio, with actress Daimi Gentle and director Gert Fredholm. at the Cinemateket in Copenhagen, from which the credits picture was taken. The site also provided the article proving the date of the dubbing of the 1st version.
