    Argentina - July 9, 1959
    Mexico - December 24, 1959

    Spain - 2001 (VHS/DVD)
  • Estrellita Díaz, the speaking voice of Aurora in the first dubbing (1959), was originally supposed to be the singing voice as well - but she died before she could record the songs, on July 4, 1959, due to cardiovascular complication, at only 33 years-old. Aurora was her last dubbing work.

  • The VHS credits only display a list of voices, without indicating the roles of the actors/actresses. Moreover, Alejandro Algara is only mentioned under the category "Solistas" ("Soloists") with Lupita Pérez Arias, which let us think he only provided the singing voice for Prince Phillip.
  • Alicia Colmenero, supposedly the voice of the Queen in the first dubbing (1959), was the wife of Edmundo Santos, the Dubbing director.
  • The second dubbing (2001) was made following the lawsuit of Lupita Pérez Arias against Disney for the royalties on the use of her voice in home media releases.
  • In 2008, some speaking lines were recording again. Internet rumors say it was either to improve the dubbing, or for the new mix in 7.1 Surround Sound quality.
According to the site Doblajewiki, actor Francisco Colmenero would have dubbed the speaking parts of King Stefan at this occasion, since Ricardo Lezama died in 2000. However, the new credits in 2008 do not mention the participation of the actor in the dubbing.
  • Ricardo Lezama, the speaking voice of King Stefan in the second dubbing (2001), never saw the result of the dubbing: he died on April 12, 2000. It was one of his last dubbing work.
  • Enrique Mederos, the voice of Maleficent's Goon #3 in the second dubbing (2001), died on April 23, 2004, due to liver disease. He was 43 years-old.
  • The character King Stefan was credited as Rey Stefano in the 2001 credits, instead of his Spanish name, Rey Estéfano.
  • The DVD/BD credits wrongly credit Ivonne Garza alone for the choir of "Once Upon a Dream (Finale)", while the whole choir sings it.
  • Ofelia González, member of the choir in the second dubbing (2001), was miscredited as Ofelia Gonzales.
  • Rafael Blásquez, member of the choir in the second dubbing (2001), was credited as Rafael Blazquez.
