- Tatiana Angelini, the original Swedish voice of Snow White, was only 14 years-old when she dubbed the character. She was a student at Franka Skolan, which held an event at the end of the school year in which she was singing; a prestation noticed by Per-Axel Branner, who, impressed, called her and offered her the role.
A few years later, Tatiana actually met Walt Disney himself, and had lunch with him; at this occasion, he told her she was his personal favourite foreign Snow White. - Even though the Americans thought the Swedish team would take a long time to provide a Swedish dubbing, thanks to the director Per-Axel Branner, it took only 11 days.
Source : "Dagens Nyheter" 11-Nov-1962 - Actress Inga Tidblad was first thought of to be Snow White. Tatiana Angelini eventually got the role, but Inga returned 3 years later as Pinocchio.

- About the 2nd dub (1982) :
- Among the actresses and singers who auditioned for the role of Snow White were Birgitta Larsson, the voice of Aurora in the 1980 re-dub of Sleeping Beauty; and 20 years-old Louise Raeder, who will then voice Faline in the 1986 re-dub of Bambi and Hera in 1997 in Hercules.
In the running with Bruno Wintzell for the voice of the Prince was Tommy Körberg, who had voiced Tod the year before in The Fox and the Hound, and will return in 1991 as the Beast in Beauty and the Beast.
Gösta Prüzelius, who had previously voiced Jim Dear in the 1955 dub of Lady and the Tramp, auditioned for the Magic Mirror; as well as Olof Thunberg, who ended up voicing Grumpy.
Sven Lindberg, the voice of Sir Hiss in Robin Hood, and Bill the Lizard in the 1951 dub of Alice in Wonderland, auditioned for the role of Doc.
Bert-Åke Varg, the voice of Sneezy, and Stig Grybe, the voice of Sleepy, were both tried out for the role of Bashful.
Nils Eklund, who will voice many characters after that (Fflewddur Fflam in The Black Cauldron, 1985 dub; Friend Owl in Bambi, 1986 re-dub; Jock in Lady and the Tramp, 1989 re-dub; the Sultan in Aladdin) was tried out for the role of Sneezy ; as well as Charlie Elvegård, mostly known for voicing Rabbit in the Winnie the Pooh franchise.
