  • Louis Neefs, the voice of Thomas O'Malley in the first dubbing, died one day after the release of the dubbing in theaters, on Christmas day, 1980. He died with his wife in a traffic accident in Lier. They were both 43 years-old.
    Günther Neefs, the voice of Thomas O'Malley in the 2nd dubbing, is their son; reprising the role from his father.
  • About the first dub (1980) :
    • Michiel Geelen, the voice of Berlioz, is the son of Harrie Geelen, the dubbing director/translator/lyricist and voice of Uncle Waldo.
    • Emmy Lopes Dias, the voice of Madame, was miscredited as Emmy Lopez Dias.
  • About the 2nd dub (2008) :
    • Pim Koopman, the voice of Scat Cat, died one year later, in 2009, of a cardiac arrest. He was 56 years-old.
