  • About the 1st version (1968) :
    • Bagheera was dubbed by a woman, Vuokko Saarinen.
      Jaana Saarinen, the voice of Mowgli, and Elina Saarinen, the voice of Junior, are her daughters.
    • Markku Kivekäs, the voice of Rama, was a Finnish Disney expert and collector. He met Walt Disney in Los Angeles in 1966, and was the editor in chief of "Aku Ankka -lehden" ("Donald Duck's Magazine").
    • Bror Collin, the voice of Colonel Hathi, was credited as Bror Kollin.
  • About the 2nd version (1993) :
    • Blake Todd, Vice President of Disney Character Voices International at the time, praised Baloo's and King Louie's Finnish voices, and sent an autographed picture to Pekka Lehtosaari to thank him for his work on the dubbing.

    • Aki Sirkesalo, the voice of Dizzy (?), died with his wife and two children on December 26, 2004 in the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami, in Khao Lak (Thailand). He was 42 years-old.
