  • Although she was only 22 years-old in 1989, Simona Patitucci had a strong lyrical voice, and was proposed to audition for both Ariel and Ursula. Both her auditions, the first under her first name, the second under her surname, were submitted to the American headquarters, and she won both. She was asked to choose between the two characters and chose without regret the role of Ariel.
  • Flounder was dubbed in Italian by a girl, Katia Folco.
  • Vittorio De Angelis, the voice of Eric, died of an heart attack on June 11, 2015. He was 52 years-old.
  • Manlio De Angelis, the Dubbing director, is the father of Vittorio De Angelis, the voice of Eric.
