  • The songs were recorded in November 1992.
  • **The End Credits version of "A Whole New World" uses the European (Castilian) Spanish lyrics of the song, written by Spanish Lyricist Alejandro Nogueras, but with the help of Mexicans Lyricists Renato López & Walterio Pesqueira.
  • In 2004, because of a racist line in the lyrics of "Arabian Nights", this part of the lyrics was changed (just like the original version).
    ​The original line was : « Y si ahí les caes mal / Te van a mutilar / Que barbaríe, pero es mí hogar (And there if they don't like you / They'll mutilate you / How barbaric, but it's my home). » (1993/soundtrack)
    And was replaced by : « Extensión colosal / Resplandor singular / Que barbaríe, pero es mí hogar (Colossal expanse / Unique glow / How barbaric, but it's my home). » (2004-present)
    That first version can still be heard in the soundtrack and on the VHS. It seems that Raúl Carballeda, the singing voice of The Peddler, came back to record the new line. (need confirmation)
  • Maggie Vera , as a singer, auditioned for both speaking and singing voice of Jasmine; but singer Analy had already been chosen. Analy said that they're both close friends.
  • Analy (full name : Ana Lilia Gerardo Lozoya) was only 19 years-old when she sang as Jasmine.
  • The singer Michelle (full name : Michelle Early), who sang the Pop version of the song, is actually American. She fell in love with Spain, and as her mother was a manager of Latin singers, she got her a contract. Today, she stopped singing and works as a Sales Manager.
