- Release dates :
Brazil - March 12, 1951 (Rio de Janeiro)
Brazil - December 13, 1991 (re-run) - The movie was first promoted in Brazil with the title "A Gata Borralheira" (sometimes subtitled "Cinderela"). This title will be used for all the Cinema release; until the 1992 VHS when it was retitled "Cinderela - A Gata Borralheira" before using simply the title "Cinderela" from the 1999 VHS and on.
- *The Brazilian speaking and singing parts of Jaq & Gus and the mice were the first to be recorded, before April 1950, in Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, due to the special process to pitch the mice's voices - while not all Brazilian voices were yet chosen. The Grand Duke dialogues were also eventually recorded there.
Sources : "O Jornal" 01.04.1950 / "O Jornal" 13.05.1951 - Unlike the original version, in which the Opening song is performed by a Choir with a Soloist part, the Brazilian dubbing only uses a Soloist.
- Simone de Moraes, the voice of Cinderella, was talked into auditioning by Tina Vitta, the voice of the Stepmother.
Source : "Revista do Rádio" 31.03.1956 - In 1996, following the VHS release of the movie, Simone de Moraes and Jorge Goulart, the voices of Cinderella and the Prince, sued Abril Vídeo and Disney for the rights on their voices.
Source : "Jornal do Commercio" 04.01.1996 - The song "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" is also known today with the Brazilian title "Sonhar é desejar".
- Tina Vitta was of Italian descent, and was miscredited in Brazilian newspapers as Tina Vita.
