The movie's release in Taiwan and China has been delayed several times because of Covid-19. - The same dubbing was used in both Taiwan and China.
- The original actors of Mulan, Xianniang, the Emperor and the Matchmaker came back to dub themselves in the Mandarin dubbing.
- "Jiven Teng" Téng Xīn (藤新), the voice of Honghui, used to be the President of "YifeiXianju", Liu Yifei's Fanclub in China, which existed from June 1, 2003 to October 20, 2008.
- A promotional cover of the song "Reflection" ("自己" in Mandarin) sung by Taiwanese singer "CoCo Lee" Lǐ Wén (李玟) , the original Taiwanese voice of Mulan in the animated movie, was made, but was not used in the end credits of the movie.
CoCo Lee (李玟) died by suicide on June 5, 2023 after battling depression for many years. She was 48 years-old.
