  • Release dates :
    Argentina - July 17, 1940
    Mexico - July 19, 1940
    Uruguay - October 10, 1940 (Montevideo)
    Chile - February 12, 1942
    Spain - February 7, 1944 (Madrid)
    Peru - June 23, 1949
  • The credits translated Honest John's and Lampwick's name literally, as Honesto Juan and Mechón respectively, instead of using their actual Spanish names, Honrado Juan and Polilla.
  • Pinocchio was the first Disney movie to be dubbed in Argentina, and the only film that preserves its original Argentine dubbing today. It is also the dubbing used in Spain since the beginning.
  • Diana Santos, the daughter of Edmundo Santos, revealed in an interview in 2003 that a Mexican redubbing was planned by her father at one point, but was eventually given up.
  • Even though Eldoblaje credits Edmundo Santos as the Lyricist, the site Tómbola Disney argues Edmundo did not work on this movie, and simply re-wrote the song "When You Wish Upon a Star" for Walt Disney himself, which got him to work on Dumbo afterwards. However, many vinyls and CDs of the movie's songs do mention Edmunto Santos for the Spanish lyrics.
  • Pablo Palitos, the voice of Jiminy Cricket, was credited by his real name, Pablo Palos.
  • Carlos Casaravilla, the voice of Honest John, was miscredited as Carlos Casarvilla.
  • Juan Ricardo Bertelegni, the voice of Lampwick, was miscredited as José Bertelani.
  • Lalo Malcolm, supposedly the voice of the Coachman, was miscredited as Lalo Malcom.
  • Carlos Ginés (additional voice) was miscredited as Carlos Gires.
