Voice actor Laurent Gris was originally chosen for the role of Simon, and promoted as such on Disney's official site - but was eventually replaced by Donald Reignoux.
While Isabelle Adjani is credited in the songs as well, she's actually only the speaking voice of Queen Amaya - the singing parts were performed by Sophie Delmas. Both Isabelle and Sophie previously dubbed together Mother Gothel in Disney's "Tangled" (2010).
