Taiwan - July 17, 1999 (Cinema) - Kaneshiro Takeshi (金城武), the voice of Tarzan, is a Japanese actor born in Taiwan, from a Taiwanese mother and Japanese father. He also dubbed Tarzan in the Cantonese and Japanese dubs. His name is read in Mandarin as Jīn-Chéng Wǔ.
- Charlie Yeung (楊采妮), is also a Taiwan-born actress, whose English name is sometimes spelled as Charlie Young. Her father is Hongkongese and her mother Taiwanese. She also dubbed Jane in the Cantonese dub.
- Wakin Chau (周華健) also performed the Soloist songs in the Cantonese version. He's also known as Emil Chau.
- While Young and Adult Terk are usually dubbed by the same person, the Taiwanese version gave her two distinct voices.
- Dù Dé-Xūn (杜德勳), the voice of Clayton, died on April 28, 2002 of liver cancer. He was 49 years-old.
- Zhào Míng-Zhé (趙明哲), one of the additional voices, died of colorectal cancer on November 24, 2005, at 41 years-old. He was the husband of "Fiona Cheng" Zhèng Rén-Lì (鄭仁麗), another of the additional voices.
- Léi Wēi-Yuǎn (雷威遠), another of the additional voices, died of heart attack while filming a movie, on March 14, 2003. He was 47 years-old.
- Yáo Qiān (姚謙), one of the Lyricist, was miscredited as Yáo Xián (姚嫌) for the song "Two Worlds" and in the End Credits songs.
