  • Actors Luigi Ferraro and Renato Montanari were originally chosen for the roles of Timon and Pumbaa respectively, and recorded the whole film; but there were replaced before the release by Tonino Accolla and Augusto Giardino that we can hear in the film. However, in the 2003 DVD Special Edition, after a mixing error, it's Luigi's and Renato's version we can hear in the dubbing.
  • Lorena Brancucci was only 17 years-old when she sang as Nala.
