- Release dates :
Sweden - December 5, 1981
In Sweden, the film was not recommended for children under 7 years-old.
Sweden - November 26, 1988
This time, the movie was censored and allowed to all public.
Sweden - July 28, 1995
For this new release, the film was presented in its original uncensored cut, but again not recommended for children under 7 years-old. - Birgitta Larsson, the voice of Aurora in the 1980 re-dub of Sleeping Beauty, got suggested by the Producer for the role of Vixey.
Nils Eklund was proposed for the role of Amos Slade; but, even though he's been suggested before for roles in The Rescuers in 1977 and the 1982 re-dub of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, he will only start to voice for Disney in the next movie : The Black Cauldron, as Fflewddur Fflam in 1985. He will then dub other characters, like Friend Owl in Bambi, 1986 re-dub; Jock in Lady and the Tramp, 1989 re-dub; the Sultan in Aladdin.
Jan Sjödin, who previously dubbed Frou-Frou in The Aristocats, was suggested for the role Dinky.
The role of Big Mama has been a "real problem" to the Swedish dubbing team, as they couldn't find anyone fit. Famous artist Brita Borg was tested, but the songs Best of Friends was in too high for her that she had to sing it one octave below the original.
